Customer snaphot with St Monica Happy Saint Shirt!

My friend, John, whom I knew from 4marks, has sent me this beautiful snapshot of himself in a St. Monica Happy Saint t-shirt. My initial reaction was the fantastic quality of the photo taken, and John is not even a professional!

Here're some photography tips from him: "Here is a photo of St. Monica from Happy Saints two hours before sunrise in downtown Spring Lake, NJ. I took the photo with a Nikon D5000 D-SLR with a Nikon SB-900 Speedlight using F5.6 and 1.6-second exposure and slow-sync."

As for the artwork on the t-shirt, of course I am thrilled. John is also quite happy with the quality of the material, "The quality is excellent. I bought two long sleeve polyester "athletic style" shirts and they are wonderful."

You can contact John here: http://www.4marks.com/JohnCurtis

Mother Teresa merchandise finally up!

I am pleased to announce that my Mother Teresa artwork merchandise is finally approved by Zazzle and the following are now available at my store: t-shirts, mugs, tote bags and button badges. They were previously rejected because apparently the Missionaries of Charity own the copyright to Mother Teresa's name, images and quotes. After a few weeks of correspondence with the good sisters at Mother Teresa Center, they have finally granted permission to me to use her image! Please visit my Happy Saints store to see the complete range!

St. Benedict of Nursia

St. Benedict of Nursia (480 – 547)
As a student in Rome, St. Benedict found it hard to spend time with God in the city. So he became a hermit. Soon he became a leader of some monks but they later decided that his rules were too strict. They even tried to murder him but when he blessed the poisoned drink, the glass broke! He left them and founded many monasteries based on his rules of work, prayer and penance. He is patron saint of Europe. His feast day is on 11 July. Visit the Happy Saints store.

St. Ignatius of Loyola

St. Ignatius of Loyola (1491 - 1556)
St. Ignatius of Loyola was once a Spanish knight. During a battle, he was hurt by a cannonball and had to return home. Feeling bored, he read books about Jesus Christ and His saints. St. Ignatius was then inspired to serve Jesus. Eventually, he founded the Society of Jesus, or ‘Jesuits’ who preach the Good News all over the world. He is also known for his ‘Spiritual Exercises’, a method to make wise and Godly decisions. He is the patron saint of soldiers. His feastday is on 31 July. Visit the Happy Saints store.

St. John Vianney

St. John Vianney (1786 - 1859)
St. John Vianney almost did not become a priest because of his weak studies. However, he was ordained because of his holiness. Father Vianney was sent to the French village of Ars which had few God-fearing citizens. Through his works, penance and prayers, he converted the entire village. Soon, people everywhere came to seek him. He heard confessions for 16 hours everyday and converted many sinners. He is the patron saint of all priests. His feastday is on 4 August. Visit the Happy Saints store.

Welcome to the Happy Saints gallery!

Hi, this gallery showcases my artwork of the beloved Saints of God, whom I call 'Happy Saints'. This title is inspired by St. Alphosus Liguori's quote that 'those who love God are always happy'. I created these cute and happy saints cartoon in the hope to generate more interest in the saints, especially among today's young and young-at-heart, who are immersed in a world of rock stars, pop idols and sports celebrities. May the Saints of God guide us all back to true happiness in Christ!

God bless you and I love to hear your comment!
