Blessed Mother Teresa was an Albanian nun who went to India to teach the children there. She saw many poor and sick people on the streets there. Feeling Jesus calling her to help them, she started an order called the Missionaries of Charity. Mother Teresa loved the poor people because she saw Jesus in them. Today, her nuns reach out to needy families all over the world. Mother Teresa is not canonized as a saint yet. That is why she is called a ‘Blessed’. Visit the Happy Saints store.

ReplyDeleteI have a deep devotion to Blessed Mother Teresa. How lovely your portrayal of her in your artwork. Just as she was, so simple, yet so complicated. She has helped me much in my faith walk.
