A Note from Me

Dear Friends,

It may appear that I have been doing a lot of advertising and sales pitching of Happy Saints products here, especially for my ebooks. The fact is that the Happy Saints project is funded and kept alive by the sales of these ebooks.

So I thank all of you who have supported Happy Saints through your purchases and recommendations!

I will continue to publish Catholic artworks as long as it is financially sustainable. Future plans include Happy Saints eBook 3, the Rosary eBook and the Way of the Cross eBook. I believe that if all these are part of God's plan for evangelization, this project will go on.

Thank you, friends and please continue to pray for the Happy Saints project to be alive!

Let us continue our Advent preparation for the Lord's Coming :)

God bless+

The Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano

The Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano
8th century A.D... a priest doubted that bread and wine would turn into the Flesh and Blood of Jesus during Mass. Before his eyes, the bread changed into live Flesh and the wine changed into live Blood. The priest repented of his doubts and invited the faithful to witness the miracle. The Body and Blood can still be seen today in Lanciano, Italy. Scientific tests have been done to confirm the authenticity of the miracle.

Check out this review of my ebook from Koala Bear Writer!

Happy Saints in National Catholic Register

Happy Saints was featured in the October 15, 2012 print edition of the National Catholic Register! I have no access to the hardcopy as I am out of USA. So I can't post snapshots of the article yet. Here is the link to the full article:

As All Saints’ Day approaches on Nov. 1, parents and teachers searching for resources to introduce children to the lives of the saints have only to search the Internet for new crafts and ideas to celebrate this special holy day, a solemnity in the Church.

Among the ideas they’ll find is a unique presentation of the saints: Happy Saints.

Victor Teh, the creator of Happy Saints, took note of the media competing for children’s hearts and developed a new way of seeing the saints that would appeal to children of all ages...

Catholic Beat August Art of the Month!

Happy Saints is featured as August Art of the Month in the Catholic Beat!

Extract: August’s contemporary Sacred Heart piece, perhaps the happiest looking Sacred Heart image ever created, is by Singaporean artist Victor Teh whose “Happy Saint” pieces feature a happy image of the saint with a quote by him or her. “I was inspired to create the Happy Saints after noticing that many pictures of saints seem out-dated and may not appeal to the current generation of children.” he says. “I spent some time exploring contemporary cartoon styles and was most inspired by the simplicity of Japanese ‘kawaii’ (‘cute’) manga art.”
