St. Thomas Aquinas

St. Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274)
St. Thomas Aquinas was called the 'dumb ox' when he was in school but he was certainly not dumb! In fact, he was so enlightened that much of our Catholic theology today is based on his wisdom. Yet before he died, St. Thomas said that all he knew was worthless 'straw' compared to Christ. Feastday 28 January.
