The Eucharistic Miracle of Assisi

The Eucharistic Miracle of Assisi
1240 A.D... St. Clare's beloved town of Assisi was on the brink of an invasion by Saracen mercenaries. The invaders came towards the monastery at the edge of town, preparing to plunder it. St. Clare stood at the gates holding the Blessed Sacrament in the Monstrance. The invaders were struck by fear at the sight of the Eucharist and fled without delay!
