2.5 Inch Circle Punchers for Happy Saints Badges

If you plan on printing and making round badges from the Happy Saints eBooks, a hole puncher will be very helpful indeed. The badges in the ebooks are 2.5 inch in diameter if you print them at 100% size.

Here are some 2.5 inch circle punches you can buy from Amazon. Product links are below the image. You can also consider fancier types, such as those with scalloped edges.

Disclosure: I do not have affiliate links for the links below. I personally own the Uchida punch and find it very good.

Extracting Images from Happy Saints eBooks for Personal Projects

Note: This was posted last September but I am reposting it here because All Saints' Day is approaching fast and many people are purchasing my ebooks for the occasion. If you plan to make some paper crafts out of the artworks in the ebooks, here are the instructions!

Extracting Images from Happy Saints eBooks
(for Personal Projects)

The Happy Saints collection of printable ebooks has been hugely popular among parents, schools, parishes and ministries for their religious activities. The high-quality artworks can printed for personal, private and non-commercial projects.

The high-quality artworks are formatted as posters, cards, coloring pages and badges; but sometimes users want to customize them for their own games and activities. Many people have asked me how to extract the images from the ebooks for their own projects.

All Happy Saints ebooks are locked and password-protected for copyright reasons. You will not be able to directly open them in professional softwares such as Photoshop or Illustrator.

To copy images from the ebooks, you can use the Snapshot tool in Adobe Reader:
  1. Open the ebook in Adobe Reader
  2. Click on Edit > Take a Snapshot
  3. Click and drag to select the area of the image desired.
  4. Paste the copied image into your editing software e.g. MS Word, Photoshop etc.

Copied Images Too Blurry Or Pixelated
If you find that the pasted image is too low quality and pixelated, you may need to tweak the settings in your Adobe Reader.
  1. Click on Edit > Preferences.
  2. Go to the 'General' section.
  3. Check 'Use fixed resolution for Snapshot tool images' and set the number of pixels/inches  to 300.
  4. Try extracting the image again.

I hope this helps for those of you who are making your own custom Happy Saints activities! Please do share them with me by emailing some photos, if you can.

New titles are being constantly added to the ebook collection. Visit the catalog here: http://www.happysaints.com/p/ebooks.html

Thank you and God bless!

Enquiries on Happy Saints Cupcakes Toppers

Hi Friends!!

I have recently received quite a few enquiries on Happy Saints cupcake toppers, probably because many people have seen them on the highly recommended Catholic Icing website, and a few other places.

I do not provide templates for cupcakes toppers. I do have downloadable ebooks available that feature 2.5inch badges of saints that you may print out and make your own toppers, or any other paper crafts. View the entire ebook catalog.

If you are planning to make your own paper crafts e.g. cupcake toppers, bingo game etc., you can check out my instructional on how to extract images from the ebooks.

Some have also asked where they can download free Happy Saints images. I do post previews of saints on my website and you may use these preview images for your personal and non-commercial use. However, the images are watermarked and are low resolution… and I do not archive what I post. A complete collection of high-quality, watermark-free Happy Saints badges is only available in the ebook collection.

Hope this helps to clarify!

Thank you and God bless!
