St. Josaphat Kuntsevych (1580 – 1623) was a Bishop from Ukraine who lived during a time when the Church was threatened with a great division. St. Josaphat became a monk at 24 and when he became Bishop later, he continued to live a holy life like a monk. He worked hard to keep the unity of the Church. He was eventually martyred by people who did not want unity. St. Josaphat’s feast day is on 12 November.
