Our Lady of Guadalupe

 Our Lady of Guadalupe

In 1531, Mother Mary appeared to St. Juan Diego, a poor farmer in Guadalupe, Mexico. She requested for a chapel to be built where she stood. He could not convince his bishop so Mother Mary gave him some roses as a sign. When he showed them to the bishop, a beautiful image of Mother Mary appeared on his cape! After that, great numbers of people believed in Jesus and the miraculously image can still be seen today in Mexico. Her feast day is on December 12.
