Happy Saints in Catholic Underground!

Happy Saints Video Review by Catholic Underground!

I was pleasantly surprised to come across a video review on Happy Saints by Catholic Underground

They talked about Happy Saints, the art, the products...

Check out the video! It is part of Catholic Underground’s weekly hour-long video cast. The discussion on Happy Saints comes in somewhere around the 29th minute (but the whole show is pretty awesome with its focus on digital topics).

Review: Happy Saints A to Z Cards

Check out this review of Happy Saints A to Z Cards by the Lieber Family!

‘… and the kids love them. They are the cutest pictures with a different Saint for each letter. Henry has asked repeatedly to play with them, although I think it's more accurate to say he likes looking through them and reading about the Saints. It warms my heart to see him studying them.’

Happy Saints in Texas

Thanks to Lisa Salinas & her family from Texas for sharing this idea. She says: 'We used your images to create buttons as prizes for an All Saints’ festival for young kids last year. We had the kids sign in to the “Book of Heaven” before they chose a button. They had to write down the name they would like to be called “when” they become canonized someday. It was sweet to see them think hard about what to be called (such as St. Catherine of Texas, St. Michael the Cheerful, etc.).'

Happy Saints Memory Match Game

Sometime back, Prudence Zavala sent me this picture of a Happy Saints Memory Match Game she made for her kids. She said:

"I made a memory match game for my kids using Happy Saints images. I printed the cards on scrapbook paper that has a print on one side and plain white on the other. I cut them out and laminated them. They are great for church and times when the kiddos need to play by themselves. The added bonus is that if we lose a piece, I can just print out another. My kids love them because the saints are so cheerful and colorful."

Thanks, Prudence!

These cards are made using printables from the Happy Saints ebooks available here:

Motivating kids with Happy Saints coins

Motivating kids with Happy Saints coins

Check out this cool blog post at Humble Dwelling, sharing a neat idea on rewarding kids for cleaning up and helping with house chores. The Happy Saints printable badges were made into coins the kids can earn by doing house chores, and exchange for cool rewards in the ‘family store’.

Happy Saints Prayer Cards in Doll Swap

This is a lovely post from Raquel Rose of storyofarose.com featuring a saint peg doll swap and Happy Saints prayer cards to go with them!

Raquel says: ‘... our group wanted to have little prayer cards to go along with the Saints we painted. Just so happens that HappySaints.com has TONS of Saint prayer cards, posters, coloring sheets, and more via ebooks. So, I had to buy a few so that we could have all the prayer cards!’

Check out the article with some great photos of peg dolls and prayer cards!

(The prayer cards are printed from Happy Saints ebooks available here)
