Dear Friends, It has been 5 years since I created the first Happy Saint artwork and started the blog gallery on 7 August 2010. Since then, the artworks have been seen and used by families, schools and churches all over the world, thanks to the power of the internet and social media. I thank God for giving me the grace and opportunity to be involved in this new evangelization effort. I also thank all of you for your prayers and support, which have kept this project alive and widespread. May the Saints of God continue to inspire you and help you towards the path of holiness! God bless! Victor
Handmade Happy Saints trading cards have been making their rounds in the Diocese of Allentown (Pennsylvania, USA). Youth Minister Debbie Walker has graciously sent me this article she wrote for the A.D. Times, the diocese newspaper. She writes: ‘… During Lent and continuing until today, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City and St. Patrick Parish, Pottsville started a new collection called “Catholic Trading Cards.” … As the children came to Mass they would receive a new card each weekend, and if they wanted more, they could ask … The caricatures are drawn exclusively by Victor Teh from Singapore.’ An awesome idea to get kids excited about the Faith, especially for this year’s All Saints Day, no? You can make your own trading cards using resources from Happy Saints ebooks which are available here: www.shop.happysaints.com Read the article in PDF version here (page 30)
