St. Andrew Dũng-Lạc & the Martyrs of Vietnam

St. Andrew Dũng-Lạc (1795 – 1839) was a priest from Vietnam. He learnt the faith from a catechist and became a priest later, serving with much love and zeal. However, the Christians over there were facing persecution and Father Andrew was arrested many times. He was eventually martyred with another priest, St. Peter Thi. His feast day on 24 November commemorates the many martyrs in Vietnam who died for the Faith.
