As the Season of Advent approaches, one favorite activity to have is the Advent Jesse Tree! The Jesse Tree is a traditional Christmas countdown event where a symbolic ornament is placed on a tree or chart every day from the first Sunday of Advent until Christmas Eve, to prepare the family for the coming of Baby Jesus.
There are many types of symbols you can use to make a Jesse Tree. An apple, for example, is often used to represent Adam and Eve. A scroll may represent the Prophet Isaiah.
